Basic X-Ray Machine Operator

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Basic X-Ray Machine Operator for its float pool supporting the Seminole County area, based out of Maitland, Florida. ### What you'll do - Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them for x-rays of specific body parts as ordered by a physician - Set up, operate, and adjust radiographic equipment; select proper ionizing factors for each procedure - Process film and evaluate x-rays for image clarity, retaking images when necessary - Implement infection control procedures and maintain the x-ray room and darkroom in clean, orderly condition - Maintain patient records, daily logbooks, monthly reports, and x-ray film files - Float to other FHMG practices within the Seminole County area based on patient volume and staffing needs ### What we're looking for - Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO) certification — required - Current BLS/CPR certification — required - High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate's degree in radiological technology from an accredited program — preferred - At least 1 year of basic x-ray operator experience — preferred - Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively to meet job requirements ### What's included - Pay range: $19.23–$40.09/hr ($40,000–$83,387 annualized) - Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals, urgent care centers, and multispecialty clinics across the United States.
