About this role
A part-time night-shift Registered Nurse is needed for the Cardiovascular Post Procedure Unit at AdventHealth Daytona Beach in Daytona Beach, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans for post-procedure cardiovascular patients.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor for adverse reactions, and adjust care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions as required.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking abilities; proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.
