Radiologic Technologist RT Urgent Care

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Radiologic Technologist (RT) for its Centra Care urgent care clinic at 11245 Shawnee Mission Pkwy in Shawnee, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging exams following established protocols across all applicable departments and environments, including OR and fluoroscopy - Position patients and select technical factors to produce images meeting Radiologist quality standards in a safe, timely manner - Screen patients for contrast allergies and childbearing status; minimize radiation exposure to patients, families, and staff - Monitor patient condition and ensure comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures; obtain and document patient history - Maintain a properly stocked, organized, and clean imaging room in compliance with infection control standards and PPE requirements - Complete required documentation for Radiologist support and perform associated clerical duties including patient records, filing, and scheduling ### What we're looking for - ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R) required - BLS/CPR certification required - 2+ years of radiologic technology experience required - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred - Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment; working knowledge of patient positioning and technical factor selection - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary clinical teams ### What's included - Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus available - Pay range: $21.82–$40.59/hour (~$45,386–$84,427 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development support ### About the practice AdventHealth operates AdventHealth Centra Care, a network of urgent care clinics serving communities across the Kansas City metro area.
