About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Radiologic Technologist (RT) for its Centra Care urgent care clinic at 11245 Shawnee Mission Pkwy in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging across all clinical departments, including OR and fluoroscopy settings.
- Monitor patient condition and ensure comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures.
- Obtain and document patient history, explain imaging procedures, and maintain accurate records for radiologist review.
- Complete clerical support duties including answering phones, filing, and scheduling.
- Maintain infection control standards, utilize approved PPE and disinfectant agents, and keep imaging rooms clean and properly stocked.
- Operate all radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in accordance with quality control protocols.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required.
- Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency with patient positioning, x-ray equipment operation, and fluoroscopic imaging.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with patients, families, nurses, and physicians.

- Pay range: $21.82–$40.59/hr (approx. $45,386–$84,427 annually).
