About this role
A Radiology Technologist (RT) role at AdventHealth Centra Care Urgent Care in Ocoee, Florida, performing diagnostic imaging across a fast-paced outpatient urgent care setting.
### What you'll do
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging exams using established protocols, operating all equipment safely and accurately
- Position patients and select technical factors to produce images meeting Radiologist standards in a safe, timely manner
- Screen patients for contrast allergies and childbearing status while minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and staff
- Obtain and document patient history, explain procedures, and monitor patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout encounters
- Complete documentation required for Radiologist support and perform associated clerical duties including patient records, filing, and scheduling
- Maintain a properly stocked, organized, and clean imaging room in compliance with infection control standards and PPE protocols
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required
- Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment; ability to adapt protocols for patients of all ages
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
