About this role

AdventHealth Palm Coast is hiring a full-time RN Assistant Nurse Manager for its ICU on the day shift at its Palm Coast, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy. - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to uphold clinical standards. - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training, feedback, and structured professional development. - Resolve staff conflicts using mediation techniques to maintain team cohesion and a positive unit culture. - Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting body, and hospital policies. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred. - Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred. - Strong critical thinking, EHR proficiency, and demonstrated leadership in a patient care unit. ### What's included - Hourly pay range of $33.99–$63.22 (approx. $70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development programs and whole-person well-being resources. - Mental health support and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Palm Coast is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
