RN PACU - PRN

AdventHealth Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Burleson, Texas is hiring a PRN RN for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on day shift. ### What you'll do - Assess patients immediately upon return to the PACU for Phase II recovery per unit protocols - Monitor and reassess patient status before and after invasive and noninvasive procedures - Review pre-operative labs and communicate relevant findings to the care team - Provide patients and families with post-operative education and discharge instructions - Perform urine HCG waived testing and point-of-care glucose monitoring - Participate in unit goal development, performance improvement initiatives, and staff meetings ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - BLS/CPR certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred) - 1+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient ambulatory surgery setting (preferred) - Demonstrated competency with IV management and ability to perform IV starts - Ability to perform at a high level in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment including on-call hours ### What's included - Pay range: $33.28–$61.91 per hour ($69,222–$128,773 annualized equivalent) - PRN/per-diem scheduling flexibility on day shift - Mission-driven work environment within the AdventHealth faith-based health system ### About the practice AdventHealth Huguley Memorial Medical Center is a full-service hospital located in Burleson, Texas, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based nonprofit healthcare networks in the United States.
