About this role

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is hiring a PRN Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations at its hospital in Wesley Chapel, Florida. ### What you'll do - Review and monitor medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems, including pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments - Provide direct patient care and participate in interdisciplinary rounds, supporting transitions of care from admission through discharge - Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on safe and effective medication use - Perform compounding, dispensing, verification, and documentation across central, satellite, and IV pharmacy areas - Identify, report, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and errors - Contribute to quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and accreditation activities while tracking performance metrics ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license required - Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred - 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred - Proficiency with EHRs, pharmacy informatics systems, and medication automation - Ability to work 10-hour variable shifts on a PRN basis - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and clinical documentation skills ### What's included - Pay range: $50.49–$93.91 per hour ($105,019–$195,333 annualized at 2,080 hours) - Flexible PRN scheduling with 10-hour variable shifts - Opportunity to align with specialty areas such as critical care, oncology, or infectious disease ### About the practice AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care.
