About this role

A Certified Medical Assistant / Surgery Scheduler position is open at AdventHealth's Asheville Urological Associates in Hendersonville, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation for urology patients - Assist with minor urological procedures and ensure accurate same-day documentation in the practice EHR - Schedule surgical cases and coordinate clinic operations across Hendersonville and Asheville locations - Administer medications, collect labs, and initiate diagnostic testing as directed - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear, accurate guidance - Monitor supply inventory and maintain functioning medical equipment in compliance with OSHA standards ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of medical assistant or related clinical experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site outpatient urology environment ### What's included - Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hr (~$34,154–$54,642 annualized) - Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 - Relocation assistance up to $5,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave ### About the practice AdventHealth's Asheville Urological Associates serves patients across Hendersonville and Asheville, NC, operating Monday through Friday on a standard day shift.
