About this role
AdventHealth Riverview is hiring a full-time Operating Room Assistant Nurse Manager to lead perioperative nursing operations at its Riverview, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy treatments within RN scope, adjusting care plans to patient responses.
- Assess patient conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage any resulting complications.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and execute improvement plans to maintain clinical standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and structured professional development programs.
- Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies to sustain high standards of patient safety.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing — preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification — required.
- Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or comparable nursing leadership experience — preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience — preferred.
- CNOR, CPAN, CRNI, or other specialty certification — preferred.
