About this role
AdventHealth Minneola is hiring a PRN MRI Technologist for day-shift coverage at its hospital campus in Minneola, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring equipment is clean, stocked, and cleared through routine safety checks.
- Educate patients and family members on MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions to promote cooperation and comfort.
- Position patients accurately using appropriate coil placement and immobilization techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast material per safety protocols and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Notify appropriate personnel when inventory levels are low.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification (required).
- Florida CRT license if credentialed through ARRT (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- 1+ years of experience in radiology with completion of an MRI training program (preferred).
- Associate degree (preferred); high school diploma or equivalent (required).
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $28.68–$53.35 (approximately $59,654–$110,968 annualized at 2,080 hours).
- Sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
- Relocation assistance up to $1,500.
