About this role
AdventHealth Avista is hiring a part-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Louisville, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for ICU patients.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with ability to apply abstract reasoning to patient assessment.
- CCRN-E or CCNS certification preferred; EKG competency per unit requirements.

- Hourly pay range of $34.26–$59.24 (annualized approximately $71,261–$123,219 based on part-time hours).
