About this role
AdventHealth Avista is hiring a contract MRI Technologist on a PRN/day-shift basis at its Louisville, Colorado campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures, positioning patients and equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast material for CT and MRI procedures and assist radiologists with special procedures such as biopsies.
- Obtain and document patient clinical history; maintain records of all examinations performed.
- Monitor patient condition throughout imaging, ensuring safety and privacy for patients across all age groups (infant through geriatric).
- Perform equipment quality control, calibrations, and coordinate preventative maintenance and service.
- Participate in standby call with availability within 30 minutes of notification; train new employees and assess technologist competence.
### What we're looking for
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved radiography program with current ARRT registration and Colorado state radiography license.
- RT(MR)(ARRT) or ARMRIT certification (required).
- Minimum 2 years of CT/MR imaging experience.
- Active BLS/CPR certification.
- Proficiency with hospital computer systems for data entry and image transfer.
- Strong patient care and communication skills across all age groups.

- Contract rate of $76/hour at 36 hours per week.
