A full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity is available at an established urgent care clinic in Grand Prairie, TX. This position is part of a large, multi-specialty physician organization affiliated with a major health system serving the greater Dallas–Fort Worth area, with more than 360 employed providers across seven acute-care hospitals and over 90 clinics. The ideal candidate brings a strong urgent care clinical background and a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages.

Practice Highlights

  • Weekday shifts: 12 hours (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
  • Weekend shifts: 10 hours (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Urgent care clinic is open 365 days per year; providers rotate holiday coverage
  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a variety of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
  • Patient population spans infants through geriatrics (ages 0–99)
  • Perform procedures as clinically indicated
  • Collaborative work environment alongside physicians and a multidisciplinary care team

Qualifications

  • Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Active Texas medical license required
  • Prior NP or PA experience in an urgent care setting is required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
