About this role
AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a contract Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology RN at its Castle Rock, Colorado facility, offering $70/hr for 40 hours per week on day shift.
### What you'll do
- Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge, covering care plans, medications, procedures, and disease processes.
- Administer medications accurately per physician orders and respond to code situations across the unit and hospital.
- Assist physicians with bedside procedures in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting.
- Deliver competent nursing care for patients requiring oxygen support and pain management in accordance with policy.
- Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges; verify and sign off physician orders and obtain lab specimens as directed.
- Evaluate and revise nursing care plans based on patient outcomes to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Associate degree in nursing (minimum); higher education welcome.
- BLS (CPR) certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, or TNCC certification preferred.
- Proficiency in English (read, verbal, and written) and basic computer navigation skills required.
