About this role

AdventHealth Millenia ED in Orlando, Florida is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for ED patients - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication - Respond promptly to code situations, providing necessary interventions to stabilize patients - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required) - Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) certification (preferred) - 1+ year of ED experience in a hospital setting (preferred) - EKG competency per unit requirements; strong abstract reasoning and multi-tasking skills ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24 per hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized equivalent) - PRN/per-diem day-shift scheduling - Opportunities for continuous professional development and performance improvement participation ### About the practice AdventHealth Millenia ED is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care—body, mind, and spirit.
