About this role
AdventHealth Riverview is hiring a full-time Clinical Educator for Surgical Services (OR) at its hospital campus in Riverview, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Design curricula and develop education programs aligned with adult learning principles for surgical services nursing staff
- Coordinate new staff orientation, including agency personnel, into the organization and unit workflows
- Evaluate effectiveness of educational programming and adjust content and teaching strategies based on measured learner outcomes
- Support bedside nurses through the Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) and participate in nursing residency programs
- Track educational offerings and report data to unit leadership to inform staffing and development decisions
- Identify individual learning needs and provide coaching and mentoring across all stages of nursing career development
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- 1+ year of education experience in an acute care or academic setting (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- 5+ years of nursing experience and/or nursing education preferred
- NPD-BC (Nursing Professional Development Board Certification) preferred
