About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a part-time Clinical Nurse Educator for the Operating Room at its Littleton, Colorado campus.
### What you'll do
- Design, implement, and coordinate orientation programs for new OR nurses and ancillary staff using ANPD standards and the NPD Practice Model.
- Develop and validate initial and ongoing competency assessments through coaching, simulation, and objective/subjective performance data collection.
- Build and deliver evidence-based continuing education, in-service programs, and clinical practice activities rooted in adult learning principles.
- Serve as a clinical resource for inquiry, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives using the PDSA framework.
- Support the preceptor program and facilitate positive learning environments for both new graduates and experienced nurses.
- Collaborate with academic partners for student placement and professional development opportunities across the care continuum.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Colorado (required).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required); Master of Nursing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (required).
- BLS certification (required); PALS and CNOR preferred.
- Working knowledge of ANA/ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development.
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
