About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time Clinical Nurse Educator for the Operating Room at its Littleton, Colorado campus.
### What you'll do
- Design, implement, and evaluate continuing education and competency programs tailored to OR nursing staff needs, practice gaps, and organizational goals.
- Support preceptor role development, practice role transitions, and succession planning at the unit level.
- Serve as a resource for clinical inquiry, guiding staff through evidence-based practice (EBP), quality improvement (QI), and nursing research initiatives using PDSA methodology.
- Collaborate with academic partners to coordinate student placements and deliver a positive learning experience.
- Disseminate EBP findings through educational programs and department-level developmental activities.
- Partner with content experts and interprofessional stakeholders to advance nursing professional development (NPD) across the care continuum.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); 2+ years of relevant clinical experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Working knowledge of ANA/ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development.
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory standards (CMS, OSHA) relevant to the OR specialty.
- NPD-BC (Nursing Professional Development Board Certification) preferred.
