A Patient Dining Associate (part-time, day shift) at AdventHealth Dade City delivers meal service directly to patients in a hospital setting in Dade City, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Guide patients through the meal ordering process using a computerized diet office system, ensuring selections align with each prescribed therapeutic diet.
- Verify patient identifiers at the time of meal delivery, confirm tray accuracy, and ensure patients have everything they need before leaving the room.
- Round on patients and nursing staff to identify and resolve foodservice concerns, taking ownership of complaints and executing service recovery.
- Assemble and deliver trays according to therapeutic diet guidelines and presentation standards, maintaining timely and accurate service across all patient areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment while performing physically active duties across long distances and extended standing periods.
### What we're looking for
- General knowledge of modified diets and proper food handling and preparation (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- Ability to work day shifts up to 12 hours and sustain physical activity throughout the shift.

- Pay range: $15.46–$24.73/hr ($32,157–$51,438 annualized).
