About this role

AdventHealth Avista is hiring a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse for day-shift surgery services at its Louisville, Colorado campus. ### What you'll do - Assess patient conditions perioperatively and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary surgical team. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per prescribed protocols in the OR setting. - Maintain a sterile environment and enforce infection-prevention and safety protocols throughout surgical procedures. - Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IV placement, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection. - Document all patient care activities in the EMR to ensure accurate, up-to-date surgical records. - Engage in quality-improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, care efficiency, and surgical outcomes. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification. - Proficiency with EMR/EHR documentation systems. - Strong interpersonal, organizational, and patient-advocacy skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $35.04–$65.17/hr ($72,883–$135,554 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health support resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Avista is a full-service community hospital located in Louisville, Colorado, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the country.
