About this role

AdventHealth Avista is hiring a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse for day shifts at its Louisville, Colorado campus. ### What you'll do - Assess patient conditions and develop individualized perioperative care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. - Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols while maintaining a sterile surgical environment. - Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IV placement, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection. - Monitor and document patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans to ensure optimal surgical outcomes. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care expectations. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance patient safety and care efficiency in the OR. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred. - Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical experience required; 1 year of surgical experience preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Proficiency in EMR/EHR charting and standard OR equipment (IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I-STAT). - Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated compassion for patients undergoing surgical procedures. ### What's included - Pay range: $35.04–$65.17/hr ($72,883–$135,554 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Avista is a full-service community hospital located in Louisville, Colorado, serving the Boulder County region as part of the AdventHealth system.
