About this role

AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time Operating Room RN specializing in Neuro/Spine procedures at its Denver, Colorado campus. ### What you'll do - Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for neuro and spine surgical cases, maintaining a sterile field and adhering to infection-prevention protocols. - Assess patient conditions pre-operatively and develop individualized perioperative care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary surgical team. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per prescribed protocols; perform therapeutic interventions including IV placement, catheterization, and specimen collection. - Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout the surgical encounter, adjusting care as needed to optimize outcomes. - Document all patient care activities in the EMR to maintain accurate, current medical records. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, care efficiency, and surgical outcomes. ### What we're looking for - Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical experience required; 1 year of OR experience preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - CNOR certification preferred. - PALS and/or NRP certification preferred. ### What's included - Pay range: $35.04–$65.17/hour ($72,883–$135,554 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off beginning Day One; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development programs and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is a full-service acute-care hospital located in Denver, Colorado, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
