About this role

AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time RN for the Operating Room — including transplant cases — at its Denver, Colorado hospital located at 2525 S. Downing St. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive pre-operative patient assessments and develop individualized care plans - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary surgical team to implement and maintain continuous patient care - Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with prescribed OR protocols - Monitor patient progress throughout surgical procedures and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes - Maintain safe, working knowledge of OR equipment, IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I-STAT, and immediate-use sterilization procedures - Document all patient care activities to ensure accurate, up-to-date medical records ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - 1+ year of medical-surgical experience required; 1+ year of surgery experience preferred - BLS/CPR certification required - CNOR, PALS, NRP, or ABLS certifications preferred - Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated compassion toward patients and families in high-stress surgical environments ### What's included - $15,000 sign-on bonus - Specialty incentive pay: base pay + $7.75/hour - Pay range: $35.04–$65.17/hour (~$72,883–$135,554 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development, mental health resources, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
