About this role

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a full-time Inpatient/Outpatient Wound Care RN to deliver specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care across both inpatient and outpatient settings at their Shawnee Mission, Kansas campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs related to wound, ostomy, and continence care. - Develop and document individualized care plans, selecting appropriate interventions and supplies with accurate medical record documentation. - Administer treatments and medications safely, monitor patient responses, and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes. - Provide direct patient care including wound care, ostomy management, and continence care to promote healing and patient comfort. - Educate patients and families on wound care techniques, ostomy management, continence strategies, and self-care lifestyle adjustments. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Minimum 1 year of acute hospital experience required. - 1+ year of wound, ostomy, and continence clinical experience preferred. - CWCN or CWOCN certification preferred. - BLS/CPR certification preferred. ### What's included - Compensation range: $32.50–$60.45/hour ($67,600–$125,736 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care in body, mind, and spirit.
