About this role

AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida is hiring a full-time RN for its Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on day shift. ### What you'll do - Deliver direct patient care across geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric post-operative populations - Assess and reassess individualized nursing care plans, applying critical thinking to changes in immediate post-operative condition - Manage and interpret all patient monitoring devices in the PACU environment - Communicate patient status to all relevant caregivers to support an effective continuum of care - Document accurately and timely using the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - Participate in review and revision of unit policies, performance improvement initiatives, and infection control practices ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida - Current BLS and ACLS certification - Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred - 1+ year of experience as an RN in a PACU or critical care setting (preferred) - Proficiency with electronic medical records systems - Strong communication skills and advanced IV technique ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off starting Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support ### About the practice AdventHealth Fish Memorial is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
