About this role
AdventHealth Central Texas is hiring a PRN MRI Technologist at its Killeen, Texas facility, providing variable-shift coverage across the imaging department.
### What you'll do
- Position patients accurately using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to produce high-quality MR images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging protocols and continuity of care.
- Support departmental scheduling to maintain adequate coverage during all hours of operation.
- Serve as a resource and training guide for department staff, including orientation, coaching, and input on performance evaluations.
- Uphold service excellence standards by delivering timely, high-quality patient care and effective communication.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) plus Texas Medical Board MRT license, OR ARMRIT certification.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of MRI technologist experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
### What's included
- PRN rate of $42.00/hour plus shift differential.
- Pay range: $32.56–$60.56/hour (annualized approximately $67,725–$125,965).
- Variable day-shift scheduling with flexible staffing arrangements.
