About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist for the surgical suite at its Orlando, Florida campus on Narcoossee Road. ### What you'll do - Anticipate the surgeon's needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each procedure - Assemble all required supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the start of surgery - Monitor aseptic technique for the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks - Hand surgeons the correct instruments and tools based on dictated instructions during live procedures - Maintain cost-containment standards when facilitating supply and equipment use - Identify and report environmental concerns to management, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards ### What we're looking for - State CST, NBSTSA CST, or NCCT TS-C certification (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's degree or surgical technology vocational training preferred - Completed or currently enrolled in an accredited surgical technology program - 1+ years of relevant surgical tech experience preferred; 2+ years of technical field experience preferred - Solid working knowledge of aseptic/sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and human anatomy ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hr (~$44,845–$83,387 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona operates a comprehensive outpatient and surgical campus at 10999 Narcoossee Rd. in Orlando, offering emergency services, orthopedics, sports medicine, imaging, lab, and a broad range of specialists. A 60-acre health and wellness campus expansion is slated to open in late 2026, bringing additional surgical and destination health program capacity to the Lake Nona community.
