About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a Senior Nurse Manager for Surgical Services at its Orlando, FL campus, a 60-acre health and wellness facility opening in late 2026. ### What you'll do - Oversee staff performance, hiring, orientation, and discipline across the surgical services unit - Manage department budgets, resources, and staffing levels to support operational goals - Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives grounded in evidence-based practice - Leverage technology and critical thinking to enhance patient care delivery and outcomes - Provide mentorship and clinical leadership while maintaining clear communication across care teams - Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred - Minimum 2 years of acute care clinical experience - Current BLS/CPR certification - Demonstrated ability to lead performance improvement and quality initiatives - Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of staff ### What's included - Salary range: $85,530 – $159,090 annually - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of AdventHealth's established network in Orlando, offering emergency services, urgent care, orthopedics, sports medicine, imaging, and a broad range of medical specialties.
