About this role

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale is hiring a full-time night-shift Emergency Department RN for its hospital in Hinsdale, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of ED patients' physical, mental, and emotional health status. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient responses. - Coordinate multidisciplinary care among physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists. - Monitor patient progress and revise care plans based on outcomes in real time. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team throughout each encounter. - Apply independent clinical decision-making under pressure in a high-acuity emergency environment. ### What we're looking for - Active RN license (required); Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. - Valid AHA BLS certification (required); ACLS, PALS, or NRP per unit requirements. - Demonstrated 12-lead EKG experience (1+ year required). - 1+ year of acute hospital nursing experience preferred. - Proficiency in acute-care nursing skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - CEN or TNCC certification preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $33.60–$56.52 (annualized approximately $69,888–$117,562). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale is a faith-based health system located in Hinsdale, Illinois, offering a full spectrum of acute and emergency care services.
