About this role
An Anesthesia Technician role supporting surgical cases at AdventHealth Lake Nona, located in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Assist anesthesia providers with patient assessment, monitoring, positioning, IV line insertion, and airway management
- Set up operating rooms for cases, including laryngoscope, intubation equipment, IV solutions, tubing, and IV warming devices
- Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment; keep equipment and supply inventory stocked
- Support schedule preparation for routine, emergent, and urgent surgical procedures involving anesthesia
- Assist with patient draping and preparation for invasive monitoring and procedures
- Provide peri-operative technical support to anesthesia professional staff throughout care delivery
### What we're looking for
- Completion of an Anesthesia Technology training program (required; 1+ year experience as an anesthesia tech accepted in lieu)
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Anesthesia Technician (AT) or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer. A.T.T.) certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterile technique and sterility of supplies
- Ability to monitor dosages and operate clinical equipment appropriately
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical/vocational training preferred
