About this role
A full-time RN position in the Endoscopy Department at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale, located in Hinsdale, Illinois.
### What you'll do
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans to ensure effective treatment throughout endoscopy procedures.
- Assess patients holistically, accounting for age, physiological, and psychological status prior to and following procedures.
- Serve as the primary coordinator across disciplines to maintain well-organized, continuous patient care.
- Document all phases of patient status accurately and communicate condition changes to the care team.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly, including discharge planning coordination.
- Mentor and lead staff to support optimal performance and clinical competency in the department.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating patient information across care transitions.
