About this role

A full-time RN position in the Endoscopy Department at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale, located in Hinsdale, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans to ensure effective treatment throughout endoscopy procedures. - Assess patients holistically, accounting for age, physiological, and psychological status prior to and following procedures. - Serve as the primary coordinator across disciplines to maintain well-organized, continuous patient care. - Document all phases of patient status accurately and communicate condition changes to the care team. - Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly, including discharge planning coordination. - Mentor and lead staff to support optimal performance and clinical competency in the department. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - Ability to maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with policies and regulatory standards. - Strong communication skills for coordinating patient information across care transitions. ### What's included - Compensation range: $33.60–$56.52/hr ($69,888–$117,562 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources, plus pet benefits. ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale is a faith-based community hospital located at 120 N Oak Street in Hinsdale, IL, operated under the Adventist Midwest Management Services umbrella.
