About this role

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring a full-time RN Manager for its Cardiology and Interventional Radiology departments at AdventHealth GlenOaks in Glendale Heights, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Oversee staff performance, manage hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes across Cardiology and IR units - Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes in line with professional standards and hospital policy - Manage departmental budgets and resources while maintaining appropriate staffing levels - Administer sedation and medications, and monitor sedated patients during procedures - Develop and implement policies, procedures, and process improvement plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team - Maintain clear communication with patients, families, staff, physicians, and vendors to ensure patient-centered care delivery ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Nursing preferred - Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience in Cardiology or Interventional Radiology - Current BLS and ACLS certifications - Demonstrated critical care skills including sedation competency and patient monitoring - Working knowledge of healthcare finance, budgeting, and nursing leadership ### What's included - Compensation range: $84,126 – $156,466 per year - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and ongoing education support ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks is a faith-based health system serving the Glendale Heights, Illinois community with a focus on whole-person care.
