Non-Certified Patient Care Technician

A Non-Certified Patient Care Technician supports bedside care delivery on the night shift at AdventHealth Winter Garden in Winter Garden, Florida. ### What you'll do - Assist licensed nurses with direct patient care tasks within defined scope of practice - Accurately measure and document vital signs in the electronic medical record - Perform point-of-care testing in accordance with competency validation and hospital policy - Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply appropriate PPE, and enforce unit safety regulations - Communicate clinical observations and procedure documentation to the nursing team per department policy - Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and respond appropriately during clinical emergencies ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - At least 1 year of applicable PCT experience (preferred) - CNA certification (preferred) - CPCT/A certification (preferred) - EMT certification (preferred) ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $15.87–$25.38 ($33,010–$52,790 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Winter Garden is a faith-based acute care hospital located at 2000 Fowler Grove Blvd, serving the western Orlando metro area.
