About this role

A part-time Cath Lab RN role at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, based at AdventHealth Hinsdale in Hinsdale, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data. - Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, monitoring outcomes against nursing standards. - Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IV placement, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection. - Advocate for and protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient throughout the care continuum. - Deliver patient and family education tailored to learning readiness and ability, evaluating teaching effectiveness. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - BLS and ACLS certifications required. - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred. - Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a specialty setting preferred. - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $35.19–$62.17/hour (~$73,195–$129,314 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is a faith-based health system serving the greater Chicago area, with AdventHealth Hinsdale operating as a full-service community hospital at 120 N Oak St, Hinsdale, IL.
