About the Community

Myrtle Beach anchors the Grand Strand — roughly 60 miles of Atlantic coastline in northeastern South Carolina — offering year-round mild weather, a low state income tax environment, and a cost of living well below comparable coastal markets. The region draws physicians who value beach and outdoor lifestyle alongside proximity to Wilmington, NC and Charleston, SC, both within two hours. Strong local school options, a growing healthcare economy, and a vibrant hospitality and dining scene make this a compelling long-term destination for physicians relocating with families.
