About this role
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join its outpatient therapy program in Daytona Beach, Florida (transitioning to Ormond Beach in August).
### What you'll do
- Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations; establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans with goal setting and frequency recommendations.
- Provide direct pediatric speech-language pathology services using evidence-based practices, with attention to age-appropriate developmental norms.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient/caregiver education accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology.
- Code and charge patient encounters accurately per CPT guidelines and payer requirements.
- Oversee and supervise therapy aides in accordance with established regulations and practice standards.
- Participate in community events, educational lectures, and performance improvement initiatives that support departmental quality standards.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida SLP license (or Temporary/Provisional SLP license accepted).
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
- Feeding and swallowing experience preferred; NMES, LSVT, Modified Barium Swallow Study, or FEES experience a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.

- Salary range: $65,623 – $122,055 annually.
