About this role
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Outpatient Pediatrics Speech-Language Pathologist to join its outpatient therapy program in Daytona Beach (relocating to Ormond Beach in August), Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques, then establish and adapt individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Provide speech-language and feeding/swallowing therapy to pediatric patients, applying age-appropriate developmental knowledge throughout treatment.
- Supervise therapy aides in accordance with established regulations and practice standards.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely using objective, measurable terminology in the EMR.
- Identify patient and caregiver education needs and deliver teaching at appropriate developmental levels.
- Support community outreach through participation in educational lectures and public awareness events.
### What we're looking for
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Active Florida SLP license, SLP-Provisional, or SLP-Temporary licensure (required).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Pediatric clinical experience (preferred).
- Feeding and swallowing evaluation and treatment experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite.

- Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hr (~$65,624–$122,075 annually).

AdventHealth Daytona Beach operates a dedicated outpatient pediatrics therapy program serving children across Volusia County, with a schedule of either 4×10-hour or 5×8-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
