About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a Medical Office Representative to support patient access operations across multiple outpatient clinic locations in Denver, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls to appropriate departments
- Welcome patients and verify, update, and enter demographic, insurance, and billing information into practice systems
- Register patients for services, facilitate timely discharge, and collect co-pays and outstanding balances at check-in
- Maintain eligibility and benefits documentation to support post-care financial workflows
- Communicate patient status to clinical partners and keep patients informed to support efficient operational flow
- Educate patients on test locations, patient portal use, and non-clinical follow-up steps
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's degree in Health Services Administration or a related field (preferred)
- 1+ year of customer service and medical office experience, including medical terminology, coding, charge entry, and payment collection (preferred)
- Prior collections experience (preferred)
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) credential (preferred)

### About the practice
AdventHealth operates a large faith-based health system with multiple primary care and specialty clinic locations across the Denver metro area, including sites at Southmoor, Porter, and Lakewood. The Medical Office Representative role supports clinical teams across specialties including primary care, urology, and neurosurgery. Full-time, PRN, and float positions are available.
