About this role
A PRN CT Technologist role at AdventHealth Parker (Portercare Adventist Health System) in Parker, Colorado, performing diagnostic CT imaging on a day-shift, as-needed basis.
### What you'll do
- Operate CT scanners, injectors, and monitors safely, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
- Follow department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to each exam.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems.
- Educate patients on exam procedures and manage workflow to minimize table downtime.
- Practice infection control standards using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
- Perform IV placement and contrast administration; apply radiation safety principles (ALARA) for patients and staff.
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R)) credential from ARRT required.
- ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- 1+ years of radiology experience with completion of a CT training program preferred.
- Proficiency with PACS, 3D workstation tools, cardiac/vascular imaging, and cross-sectional anatomy.
### What's included
- Sign-on bonus up to $20,000.
- Hourly pay range: $32.53–$60.50 (annualized equivalent approximately $67,662–$125,840 at full-time hours).
- PRN scheduling flexibility on day shift.
