About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a PRN Mammographer at its breast imaging center in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Perform 2D and 3D mammography examinations, positioning patients and adjusting technical factors and compression to achieve optimal image quality.
- Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to ensure accurate results and timely communication of next steps.
- Support patient tracking and follow-up workflows, including recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling.
- Conduct daily system QC checks and ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and operationally ready.
### What we're looking for
- Registered Mammographer RT(M)(ARRT) and Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) — both required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MQSA, ACR regulations, and radiation safety principles (ALARA).
- Proficiency with PACS and EMR systems; basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $29.57 – $55.01 (annualized equivalent approximately $61,500 – $114,400 based on full-time hours).
- PRN/per-diem scheduling with day shifts.
