AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time Nurse Manager (RN) for its MedSurg 2 unit in Zephyrhills, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Oversee staff performance, staffing levels, hiring, orientation, and disciplinary processes for the MedSurg 2 unit.
- Manage unit budgets and resources, applying working knowledge of healthcare finance to maintain fiscal accountability.
- Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes and ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Apply critical thinking and technology to decision-making, problem-solving, and integration of new clinical systems.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, ensuring high-quality clinical care delivery and clear care planning.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and maintain constructive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and ancillary departments.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience required; 2+ years of nursing leadership experience preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS (and PALS within six months of hire) preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of state, federal, and Joint Commission regulatory standards governing nursing services.
