About this role

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a Director of Nursing for Surgical Services at its Tampa, Florida campus, a leadership role overseeing the full perioperative program. ### What you'll do - Assume 24-hour accountability for management and delivery of patient care across perioperative departments - Serve as clinical and administrative resource for nurse managers, charge nurses, clinical coordinators, and perioperative staff - Collaborate with medical staff to evaluate and implement improvements in Perioperative Services - Oversee development of policies and procedures aligned with AORN, ASPAN, AAMI, and AGIA standards and regulatory requirements - Ensure staff competency and maintain current personnel documentation for performance evaluations - Investigate and resolve complaints, monitor nursing assignments, and manage Perioperative Services payroll accuracy ### What we're looking for - Active Florida RN license (required) - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required); Master's degree (preferred) - Minimum 2 years of perioperative leadership experience - Minimum 2 years of circulating or scrub nursing experience - BLS/CPR certification (required); CNOR certification (preferred) - Strong supervisory, communication, and organizational skills with computer proficiency ### What's included - Salary range: $94,084 – $175,004 annually - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care.
