About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its ICU Cardiology unit, a night-shift leadership role at their Tampa, Florida hospital.
### What you'll do
- Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy administration within RN licensure scope, adjusting care plans based on patient response.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical and professional standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Mentor, precept, and support professional development of new and existing nursing staff through hands-on training and educational programming.
- Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies to sustain high standards of patient safety.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing — preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification — required.
- 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience — preferred.
- 1+ year of nursing experience in an acute care setting — preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, financial/productivity management awareness, and EHR proficiency.
