About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Cardiology Interventional on the day shift at its Tampa, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and individualized care needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Interpret EKGs and apply critical care clinical skills appropriate to the cardiology interventional patient population.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- EKG knowledge consistent with the cardiology interventional patient population.
- Strong critical thinking, clinical prioritization, and electronic medical record documentation skills.
- Experience in a specialty clinical area preferred; familiarity with Cerner or EPIC a plus.

- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
