Mammography Technologist PRN

AdventHealth Kissimmee is hiring a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform breast imaging services at its facility located at 2450 N Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee, Florida. ### What you'll do - Position patients and operate mammography equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images, adjusting technical factors and compression as needed - Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and documentation requirements - Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems - Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps - Participate in patient tracking and follow-up processes, including recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling - Support breast center initiatives such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities ### What we're looking for - Registered Mammographer RT(M)(ARRT) — required - Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) — required - Florida CRT license — required - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required - Minimum 1 year of mammography or radiology technologist experience - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $26.08–$48.50/hr ($54,246–$100,880 annualized at 2,080 hrs) - PRN / per-diem day-shift scheduling ### About the practice AdventHealth Kissimmee is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network with a mission centered on whole-person care.
