About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time, night-shift CT/X-Ray Technologist at its Ocala, Florida facility (9521 SW Highway 200). ### What you'll do - Perform high-quality CT and X-ray examinations per provider orders and departmental protocols, maintaining optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis. - Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and apply ALARA radiation safety principles. - Review patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications prior to scanning. - Complete CTA reconstructions, including Cardiac CTA, and operate Siemens SyngoVia workstations and injectors. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EMR (Cerner/Epic) and PACS (Fuji/Agfa) systems. - Perform and document daily quality control checks, keep exam rooms stocked, and ensure all equipment passes routine safety inspections. ### What we're looking for - Active ARRT certification in CT — RT(CT)(ARRT) — required; RT(MR)(ARRT) accepted in lieu. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Ability to assess, place, and confirm IV access for contrast-enhanced CT studies. - Competency performing imaging on patients of all ages, including ED and observation settings with turnaround time targets. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. - 3+ years of radiology experience preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $26.08–$48.50 (approx. $54,246–$100,880 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals and care sites across multiple states, with a mission centered on whole-person healing.
