About this role
AdventHealth Waterman is hiring a full-time Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) for night shifts at its hospital campus in Tavares, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments across patient populations spanning neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatrics.
- Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical ventilators, including airway management and tracheal suctioning.
- Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis and support hemodynamic monitoring using sterile technique.
- Deliver oxygen therapy, Heliox, inhaled medications, lung expansion therapy, and bronchial hygiene treatments.
- Assess and reassess patient responses to therapy, adjusting plans as clinical needs change.
- Document all care and treatment data accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required).
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the state or NBRC (required).
- Competency in non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation initiation, management, and liberation.
- Airway management skills including insertion and maintenance of a patent airway.
- Ability to perform ABG puncture, arterial cannulation, and ventilator patient transport.
- 1+ years of experience as a respiratory therapist (preferred).

- Pay range: $26.08–$48.50/hr (~$54,246–$100,880 annualized).
