AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Medical/Surgical Neurology unit on the night shift in Ocala, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy treatments within RN scope, adjusting care plans based on patient responses.
- Assess patient conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans to uphold clinical standards.
- Identify staff training needs, organize educational programs, and mentor team members to support professional growth.
- Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required or active enrollment in a BSN program.
- Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, financial/productivity management awareness, and ability to lead performance improvement at the unit level.
