About this role
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hosting a virtual hiring event on June 30th (10am–2pm via Indeed) to fill Imaging and Respiratory positions at its Daytona Beach, Florida hospital.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients and selecting technical factors to produce high-quality images.
- Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT, and MRI equipment in compliance with radiation safety principles (ALARA).
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR, PACS, and radiology information systems (e.g., Cerner, Radnet).
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and all equipment passes routine safety checks.
- Monitor patient condition, transport patients, and apply proper infection control techniques throughout procedures.
- Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as departmental needs require.
### What we're looking for
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or 1+ year of post-certification radiologic technologist experience.
- Active ARRT registration and applicable state licensure (or eligibility); additional modality registrations a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures, patient positioning, and equipment operation.
- CPR certification (adult, child, and infant) required.
- Proficiency with PACS, EMR, and radiology software; basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to care for patients across the full age spectrum, including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
